Babysitter Training

The American Red Cross is the nation’s leader in babysitting classes and child care training – and will prepare you to become one of the most capable, trusted and in-demand sitters in your neighborhood. In fact, 8 in 10 surveyed parents said they would pay more for a trained babysitter who holds Red Cross babysitting certifications. Start your babysitting business on the right foot and learn how to be a safe, professional and reliable sitter.

This course is designed to provide youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and    infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills, learn how to     develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children    behave, and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. The recommended age for this course is 11-15 years old.  May be eligible for Scout badges.

SKILLS SESSION

Class to be held at the following location: Ewa Community Church 91-1258 Renton Rd Ewa Beach, HI 96706. Please park in the back or on the street. Please note that this is NOT the Catholic church down the street with the large parking lot on the side. The church is on the corner of Renton Road and Pipeline St. The classroom door is at the back of the church. For assistance, please text or call 808-200-7136.

Participants should bring lunch, there is a refrigerator and microwave available. Red Cross policy also requires each learner to have their own unique email address (cannot share with another person).

Please note that due to the amount of preparation required for this course, no refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 7 calendar days before the class.
